hi, I am installing a moodle in my site, and I've got problem with regards to the php.ini configuration. I need to uncomment this text "extension=php_zip.dll" in my php.in. Now my problem is how to uncomment the text that i've mention to my php.in since I don't know how to locate/open the php.ini in this web server? I really have a hard time figuring it out.

Please help me how to do it.

Thanks

In this set up, you do not have access to php.ini . There is one such file for all the accounts on your server and individual adjustments are not available.

myccsclass12, are you asking about your site on X10, or running on your own computer? That the extension is a DLL suggests the latter. X10 runs Linux, which has a different library format, one that uses an extension of ".so". If you are asking about your own computer, what server software package are you using?

I am running my site on x10. But before that, I made a test run of my system on my own computer. And I found out that I need to configure the php.ini of my wamp the web server application that I am using. After I have configure the php.ini then it already runs fine.

Is there any alternative way to open the php.ini?
