I have some problems when using the events component, can anyone help me out?

It will take you to the calendar of this month which is September. Try to select another month from the drop down menu and you will see this:
Warning: usort() [function.usort]: The argument should be an array in /home/phyact/public_html/matel/components/com_events/events.php on line 1349
Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /home/phyact/public_html/matel/components/com_events/events.php on line 1350
Can anyone tell me how to fix this? If I have to manually change the php code, does it mean I have to delete all my events in the calendar, uninstall the component, change the php code, re-install the component and lastly have to re-enter all the event entries again?
