I have an email form on my site and a PHP file to go along with it. However I had basic PHP set and the mail() function was disabled. I switched the PHP setting to intermediate but the mail() function is still disabled. On the PHP settings it says Upgrade Pending Im not sure if that has something to do with it but I need Help

Upgrade pending. That means that the PHP upgrade is pending and is not active yet. Wait a bit then try again.
