PHP mail

Hi, I need sent email from the server. How can I have the php mail function enable again for my account?
Can I use the SMTP server to send email?

PHP’s mail function has been disable across some of our servers. We will re-enable it soon in the future, but we currently do not have an exact ETA for this.

Not sure about the SMTP. I am sure you will receive answer for that shortly.

I'm not sure about the x10 SMTP Server (if thats available), but I'm quite sure using Google/Gmail/Google Apps SMTP Servers to send mail still works. Before the servers went down but PHP Mail was disabled, my outgoing emails were still getting through.

If you need the mail function, you can try configuring whatever you're using to use Google Apps SMTP instead. http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=13287
