I would stay stick with mambo ;) Php-nuke has huge security threats and I just like mambo better.

Mambo is defiently better, PHP-Nuke lacks customizations and you have to know it pretty well to use it.

Don't use either. Start to learn Php +MySql, it might take a while, but it's definetly worth it. Once you get to know it, you can make and do pretty much whatever you want.

I like Mambo and i would recommend it too.. Making your own has security risks like SQL injection and more..

I choose none as well, but if I had a choice, it'd be Mambo.

Mambo- Lacks on customization, so you have to make your own but has better features than PHPNuke.

PHP- lacks on security, features (Admin Panel for an example) and the only think I like about it is, it's templates. Nothing more.

One I would most recomment is LDU (Land Down Under).

Quite correct the only reason I have used Php-Nuke is because of the Army theme I could never find one for Mambo.

There is a module that changes PHPNuke themes? Must have a look...
