I was told that you can change your php-nuke templates, is this true?
If it is, could someone please tell me how to change it?

You have to upload your template into public_html > nuke directory > themes folder.

It's not to hard, most themes come with a "How To".

FTP is probably the easiest for a rookie

The second option is directly to cPanel. You could upload the zipped file to cPanel, as cPanel can upzip files, then move them to the right directory.

It doesn't work through the cPanel. How do you upload with the ftp?

You just upload the theme zipped file to a folder. Click the file, unzip. You'll see the unzipped file there. You go into the "upload" file, you'll see the name of the theme, as one folder. Move that one folder into the theme directory for PHP-Nuke.

It's really simple.

You go into file manager, then goto the folder you want to upload the zipped file, click "Upload" or something like that.

Have you zip file on your desktop.

Go into file manager>public_html>*>templates

Click "Upload"

When it is uploaded, click on the file and click "Extract"

Now, go into you PHP-Nuke Administration Panel.

Click "Prefrences" and scroll down until you see a drop down menu that says "Templates"

Your Template is now installed.

*=the folder you installed php nuke into.

I did do that but when I want to upload the zip file it says that it can't open the zip file. Something about needing version 2.

What version of php nuke are you using.

That really doesn't matter it's all the same. We've given directions best we can. The only thing to do at this point is for one of us to get in his account and do it.
