Hey there just wanna know if the server allows ping from php to a game server i have a script that pings a server and then returns the result , very lightweight it barely uses any bandwidth

Yes , it was working on http://bf1942.exofire.net/STATS/ , but after the upgrade to php version 2 it sttoped working , i uploaded it again , but i keep getting error message , the server is always up but the script its not able to ping the server (it pings server port 23000 /gamespy ) .

Look in the error log found in cPanel and see if there are any errors about blacklisted functions.

I tryed to access now the stats page , i get the message that the game server is down , so a took a look as you said in the error log , this is the message in the log

Moved tha page to http://bf1942.exofire.net/STATS-OLD . still not working that strange when i sign up it was working fine , after upgrade it stop working .
