this is with the reference to the above thread which i opened earlier. the reason why exec function should be enabled is that my board.
i am running mybb which needs exec enabled.. i have also tried to make the script work which one of your members prepared to bypass it.. it showed me sql databases error whenever i did . this is my 3 thread and i have not opened my site since last month . please i request you to enable it.

We do not enable exec for security reasons, why do you need exec enabled? "My script needs it" is not a sufficient reason.

You opened another thread after the last one was closed, and clearly Corey stated he needed a pretty good reason to enable it, as "My site needs it" wouldn't quite qualify to have it enabled. Otherwise, its disabled and you will have to find a way to work around it.

i have clearly stated that i run MYBB which needs that function enabled... there was only one other option and that was to edit the script.. but as above says it dint work out at all...

There are a bunch of people using myBB by editing the script and commenting out the line that uses exec. Running myBB is not a sufficient reason to have exec enabled. Do a search of the forums and see how the other people did the work around.
