php upgrade

I can't seem to find the option to upgrade php, which I need to do because I am unable to proceed from step 2 in wordpress installation and I think the php version mismatch is causing this.
I searched around fairly properly for the solution, and all answers seem to be login to x10hosting.com/account. But I can't find any such option of the page.
Hope you can help me out and thank you for your time.

All Free Hosting accounts have the same PHP version and setups. The information your saw was at least a year old.

Right now your server, Chopin, is having problems with MySQL and is probably the cause of you problems with installing WordPress. The Admins are aware of the problem but there is no ETA as to when it will be fixed.

I think that's the reason why I am being randomly logged out as well.
