can I know what is the PHP version we are using? It seems that it does not support late static binding and i need it on my site.

We're on some version of 5.2; late static binding was added in 5.3. I know we'll be updating to 5.3 at some point, but for the moment it's "back burner" cause we need to make sure nothing'll actually go and break when we make that jump.
