phpBB can't post jpg file

Dear support,

I am using phpBB, but I can't post a jpg file in the phpBB forum. the phpBB support said it's the hosting company's problem, they said:

The host controls what files you can attach, because it pays the bills, not you. It has apparently disallowed .jpg files, or restricted them in some other way. Contact your host.

don't you allow posting jpg file in the free hosting package?

We do allow .jpg files. We don't restrict any type of files.
Check your phpBB configuration (on your AdminCP), you might have to add this to the extensions for the files you allow users to attach.
