phpbb - Forum templates?

Hey,
I've got a problem with my forums, in regard to the templates..

What i mean is, I got a new template "softblue" for the forums and I followed the installation notes to plan. (below)

To install this skin simply upload the SoftBlue folder located within
this zip file inside your templates directory. Next, go to your board
and enter the Administration Panel area. Scroll down the left menu untill
you see "Styles Admin" click the "add" link.
You should now see the SoftBlue skin waiting to be installed. Click
install and presto, it is finished.
Next go to "General Admin" and click on "Configuration". Here you can select
which installed skin is default.
Enjoy the skin.

Although with the uploading to the directory I created a new folder to resemble all the folders/files to upload rather than uploading the folder its self (as i dont know how to upload folders). But anyway I followed all that correctly, I added the softblue through styles admin and I changed it to default skin in General Admin but when i hit submit it says its saved etc.. But the skin doesnt show?

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

You'd be far better off seeking support from phpBB, since x10 did not make this software .

Go into the admin control panel> configuration> set the default style to softblue> and select YES to 'override user style'.
