Ok I'm new to the forum and also new to hosting a site so hello everyone.

I currently host a forum using PHPBB2.

I'd now like to make the change to PHPBB V 3

BUT.......

I don't want to lose my users.

I have set up a new phpbb 3 forum and all I need to do now is add my user's from the old forum.

I have tried copying them from my old database to my new one but I caused a few problems.

Does anybody know how to do what I need?

You'd probably be best off posting in the phpBB support forums. Remember, phpBB3 is still in beta production, and the current releases are only candidates. Maybe you'd be better performing a full site migration when the final version becomes available.
