PHPMAILER Problem

PHPBB is giving me the following error message and isn't sending out emails.

Failed sending email :: PHP ::

I was told phpmailer on the server doesn't work.
This only started once the server moved.

I was reading on this forum I could try SMTP

Try using SMTP
Use the following info.
SMTP server :localhost
Username: Your cpanel username.
Password: Your cpanel password.

I entered this information into phpbb admin panel, and I get another problem.

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 530 Relaying not allowed - sender domain not local

or should I just wait

To my knowledge it is currently disabled on all servers. It should be back when everything is sorted (for PHP level 2 and up if I recall correctly)

You should just wait. as anna says when server update is done then it will be enabled
