phpmyadmin has stoped working

My phpmyadmin has the following error:

phpMyAdmin - Error

#2002 - The server is not responding (or the local MySQL server's socket is not correctly configured)


I have searched posts but none actually say how the fixed it. Not sure if admin did something or it was time based.

Please help if you can lol.

Is this still an issue? If so can you pm me your account password so i can see if it works for me. If is doesn't then i will alert Corey to the issue.

12 hours later and its still an error.

I notice someone else has the same problem. Can you please fix the server cos I need to use this!
