Technically, not my site, but 'Our' site.

A portable game, is a lightweight game that can be used on a USB drive. This site is dedicated to the makings of portable games.
We know that in some places like at work or at school, it is impossible to install anything on the computers. It can become frustrating when you’re bored and you have nothing to do. With any of our portable games you can enjoy the day by easily running them off any USB drive with no need of install. Our goal is to provide the easiest, fastest ways for people to have fun.
Me and my team would like to share these portable games so everyone can know about these freeware games. Freeware games that not a lot of people play or know about them. The developers spent hours making the games and we spent hours to make them portable so everyone has access to them.
That’s why we share the games.
You don’t have to do anything other than download them.
And all we want from you guys is to play them, it’s simple as that.

You can find it here.
www.PortableGames.TK

There are also some apps too... they're in the forum.
If you want to know, we're a group of highly bored high school students :).
Don't worry we only make portables from freeware stuff since that's the only stuff we can access from school!

ALSO if anyone wants I will add their site to our blogroll... No ilegal, porno sites plz lol.
Just reply to this thread the title and the link to your homepage

Its pretty good,

I would get out of the .tk though it kind of ruins the site (in the way that it

attracts more attention because the .tk ad is white and your site is black)

Try .co.nr its free no ads just a little banner (its about 50x35).

Do the cross-platform games contain binaries for multiple OSs? A few of them are multi-platform (TORCS' description even mentions the multiple platforms it runs on) so you should include the other binaries or offer separate versions.

Also, rar? Try using 7z (better compression than even bzip2). For the Windows games, though, zip is good since Windows XP and up include support for it by default (not sure if Vista has rar support). Many people will be playing these portable games on computers where they can't install a decompression utility to unpack rars.

Actually, a better idea for Linux is to use either Bzip2 or Gzip since 7zip can't usually be decompressed by default without installing a separate package.

Very good, the games look cool - I'm going to download some!
But I would get out of TK if I were you, try co.nr like someone else said.

Thx for the idea... I will try co.nr, but I gotta wait for 1-2 days for them to check the site.

I don't know how to use linux... I don't even know what it is lol. We only know how to make portables for windows.
