Nothing much is shown at your website. I clicked the downloads link and it opened a new page and no downloads is available inside. For the downloads link, I think that you should let it open in the same window rather than opening to another new window.
As for the forum, looks pretty okay with the design. =)

Sorry but i really think "it's crap"!
There's a lot more you can do on this to make it look more proffessional...
Maybe you should use Joomla as it would suit your needs then customize it with a template or something.

Your forums are quite nice though .

Home page is not organized. could have used a CMS like joomla as sohil told.
Try not to use another window to open every thing.
The forum is good. but some more can be done with the header. it looks like a simple text.
