My account was suspended this morning for "malicious activity". That does not provide too many details. I have not changed anything on the site in several months.

Could you let me know if there is something I need to change on my site in order to get it un-suspended?

Thank you.

The full text of the suspension makes a difference in this case - the first two words are "Account compromised," indicating that software has been put on the account without your knowledge, intent, or permission.

That said, in order to resolve this properly, please open a dispute through the portal at x10hosting.com/portal . This is NOT a permanent suspension, we just have to go back and clean up the account prior to lifting the suspension so the compromised/malicious material doesn't go back online.

Thank you for un-suspending my account.

I looked at all of my files and did not see anything added maliciously. Can you let me know what caused my suspension so I can be sure to remove it when I put the site back up? Or is there nothing wrong with my files and my account was just compromised in which case, should I update my username/passwords?

Thank you. Just want to make sure not to get suspended if the same item crops up again.

In this case the account had been compromised with a web-shell, "ra.php" - within about 2-3 minutes of that being uploaded, someone then used it to put 3 separate phishing suites on the account.

I already went in and removed the shell and the phishing pages, but I'd still recommend reinstalling the software from scratch to ensure there's no other backdoors or exploits in the code, as it got on there somehow. I'd also update passwords, just to be safe.
