Plugins need permission for writing

From today morning I am facing new problem I am not able to install or delete any plugin nor any installed plugin work. It says it need permission for writing. What should I do? I tried to change permission in cpanel but it failed. Please help. My wordpress blog is going down day by day with new problems. Please help how can I make cpanel writable

It seems that all the servers have a problem with file system permissions at the moment.
Staff are aware of the problem.

My domain name is *****.com and my google sitemap plugin & shareohlic plugin show error it said need permission for writing. But when I try to change permission in cpanel and allow file to write it says filey sytem read only. Please help or please fix this soon. Please sir

You ,along with many fellow x10 members, are facing Read Only File System (RO-FS)situation.

This issue is expected to be resolved automatically/by staff members.

There isn't an official word on chopin (hosting server) migration, but it seems there is some misconfiguration big time somewhere.
