I am starting to wonder seriosly why the point system is here...
And what for it is
Can some one explain it to me?

The points system allows you to get stuff from the shop. eg If you get enough points (ie 1500) you can get a domain for a year. Some people in the forum also charge points for services.

Though I have no idea what reputation is used for?

Months ago there was a bank system also, it was great. Too bad i lost all my points when it was removed and all my points were saved there.

I didn't even know that points had anything to do with reputation

I think if people reply allot on you're thread or quotes you get more points but i could be wrong
