My site is http://koilungfish.x10hosting.com/index.html.
Trying to upload some files via FTP at about 1 am GMT, I found I was having a lot of trouble connecting - very slow connection, connection dropped, uploading a 36 KB file took almost a minute. In my public_html folder I found four files I did not put there, nor do I recognise them. They are:
* A 22 meg file named core.9884
* A 1 kb file named error_log
* A 0 kb file named foo
* An empty folder named scgi-bin
Are these something to do with X10 hosting or has someone else put them there? I'm assuming from foo and error_log that were created by some error on the server at some time in the past.
Is it safe to get rid of these files?
