possible dns issue getting to the cpanel on stoli

is anyone having an issue getting to cpanel using the name of ur site for instance mine is http://howtokubuntu.x10hosting.com:2082. that doesnt seem to work it says the pg cannot be displayed. if i use the following ip address http://74.86.116.188:2082/ i am able to get to the cpanel. is this related to the packet loss issue at ur routing provider.

Not sure about your problem, but does your site load up fine for you? If it does, then it's not the problem with that one router most likely that is owned by someone else, not x10 or their datacenter.

Also, since you can load up cPanel without a problem when connecting to Stoli's IP address, it's clearly a different issue to me.

I highly doubt that. I'm a Vista (Home Premium 32-bit) user and have no problems getting onto cPanel on your site's domain via FIrefox or Windows Internet Explorer, same with my site which is hosted on Absolut.

cPanel works correct for your account, with that domain.

You could have been trying to access it during one of the brief periods that cPanel is taken down automatically for PHP version upgrades. (Happens on a six-hour interval, with about 5-10 minutes of downtime)
