From what I'm gathering from a bunch of posts, when attempting to log into the account manager, it seems the error message says something like "Although you logged in successfully, there was an error retrieving your account information. Please post on the forums to get support for this issue."
Any chance of changing that last part to read "Please be patient; x10 is currently doing some major updates to the servers, and as such some portions of the system will be offline. Please click [here] to read more about it." where [here] is a link to that particular news/announcements thread?
It won't curb ALL of the posts, but it'd stop the ones about being unable to login (I hope at least). Just a thought; dunno how close the updates are to being finished or if it's worth changing, but it's a thought
