PostFix Issue Query

Hi Corey and Team,

Well I just experienced myself what you guys must have been. I have installed this postfix on my VPS. And all mails were being sent till yesterday and suddenly it stopped sending mails.

I saw the logs and I saw the mails in queue with some error like this:

Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name= type=MX: mysite.com not found, try again

Then I just restarted the postfix server, waited a while, flushed the pending mails and it started sending again.

Hey man I experienced the same so many times with my paid servers. What the hell is this problem, you guys must be having some solution possibiliy.

Or does this postfix mail server needs to be restarted every now and then ??

Do you have your hostname as a FQDN? As in, 'hostname.domain.tld' with an A record?

No in my Godaddy DNS total control I just have a single A Name which is equal to the IP Address of my website.

Nothing else?

Lemme know if I mis interpreted the question and replied with something else.
