Hi

Is there an issue with rain.x10hosting.com (ping and connecting to 8888 or 8887)? I have tried to connect but have had no luck.
I have also raised a support call but have not heard back yet.

Cheers
Keith

Apparently theres a security issue with HyperVM, so they needed to kill rain for a while. The new control i believe is for the new VPSs located at the new site.

Unfortunately my account is not on that server (I tried logging in and resetting the password, the later states the account cannot be found on the system).

Apparently theres a security issue with HyperVM, so they needed to kill rain for a while. The new control i believe is for the new VPSs located at the new site.

That would explain it, but I could find nothing related to a server status or much other information about rain. Do we know if there is an ETA?

Thank you both for your responses.

I have been trying to communicate with Support through the Support Ticket System about this but have received very little response. I realize things are hectic right now with migrations and upgrades. Somebody did confirm that HyperVM is, (once again), having security issues, which compelled X10 to take it down pending solution. I have not personally been comfortable with HyperVM since the major security breach in June of last year - some of you may remember that the owner committed suicide shortly after that incident. Anyway, I hope that the new setup with VPS's includes a replacement for HyperVM.

At the present time most of domains and email are unreachable. This may have something to do with the migration, but I can not verify that because Support has not responded to me for several hours. This problem could also be the result of some misconfiguration on my VPS but with Rain / HyperVM down I cannot get in and check things. The link that Boss suggested earlier does not work for me. Invalid username / password .

Hopefully things will clear up in a few hours and / or support will let me (us) know what is going on.
Not complaining. Just stating facts.
