Hi there.

In my VPS i've just installed Operating System: Debian 5.0 (Lenny) Minimal (32-bit) and the ehpc 0.29.15 (http://ehcp.net/). And memory it's like this:

Is this VPS, Basic B3, so poor? I had a linode once with less memory and worked great...

Are you using your own nameservers? If not make sure bind is not running
If your using mysql, google "reduce mysql memory usage"
You may want to go in and remove addons for apache that you are not using

Its hard to tell exactly whats using so much memory without seeing anything.
Can you post the output of ps -aux

Also if you use APC for php, that can chew away at memory. I just restarted my php services and my ram dropped 300 mb in usage(I use php via fastcgi)
