problem uninstalling word press

I was getting redirected to webcache109.com and decided to uninstall word press. I can not reinstall. When I try to do so I get an error message telling me to uninstall manually wp-admin, wp-content,
wp-includes. But I can not delete them from control panel or from FTP. Do you need to do something on your end?

I can't find any reason why CPanel's file manager would not delete a directory in your own public_html folder. Does it give an error?

It gives an 'unresponsive script' message. I have attached a screen shot. The files are never deleted. From my FTP client, I can not list the files at all so i can not delete them. I see wpadmin, for instance, but when I click on it the files it says no such file or directory. When I try to reinstall word press, Cpanel says I have to remove the files- wpadmin, etc. Thanks for any help!
