Problem Uninstalling Wordpress

I do have this problem regarding my setup in wordpress. I do successfully install wordpress using fantastico but recently, when I try to uninstall wordpress on my host using fantastico. It only erase the database and not the files in the webroot. I try to remove them manually but it appears over and over again. Like it's not removing at all. I really need an advice from the expert on this. I open several accounts here and the result is the same.
