Problem When Installing IPB (Legally Purchases)

When I try logging into the ACP in IPB I get the following error message:
"SQL Error
An error occured with the SQL server:

mySQL query error: SELECT * FROM cache_store WHERE cs_key IN ( 'performanceCache' )

This is not a problem with IP.Board but rather with your SQL server. Please contact your host and copy the message shown above."

I posted on the IPB support forum and I was told "Ah the "server has gone away" issue. I'm trying to find other posts that I've read about this for the solution. I think you will need to ask your host to increase the amount of time it allows a connection to remain open or to increase the amount of memory available to it. It is something that needs to be changed on the server though."

So what that is saying is that the time needs to be increased that allows the connection to remain open or to increase the amount of memory available to it.

Also: I can show proof the IPB I has installed on my account is legal if needed.

Where does it say the "server has gone away"?

I don't know that was what I was told by someone on the IPB support forums.

I would have to imagine it was somewhere either on the Forum Index or during an attempt to log into the Admin Control Panel. The forum seems to be working and I was able to get a login screen for your ACP so try giving it a shot now.

Did you cut/paste the full error message here?

Also, you can go to cPanel --> PHPMyAdmin and look at your database. Specifically the table 'cache_store' and the column 'cs_key' .
