Problem with hosting

hey I've tried to host a webpage and nothing seems to work. I upload files in file manager but when you enter the site you'll see nothing. I also installed a database which I later uninstalled but it is still visible in the status bar even though I do not have any database.

I see an Index of / page that doesn't have anything in it. Please make sure that you are uploading your webpages inside the public_html folder.
