Hi,
I have just installed php-nuke but I cant get it to work correctly. The problem is that all modules are full of cryptic names like: _INVISIBLEMODULES, _ACTIVEBUTNOTSEE, etc. which i can only assume are placeholders for internationalized strings. Can this be caused by restrictive php settings? I tried reinstalling several times using both the default installer and the fanstastico deluxe script but i get the same error each time.

I am also having problems with one of the modules: vwar. I'm pretty sure its installed and configured correctly but when i try to load it i get the following error:

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
-> Database Error: Link-ID == false, connect failed
-> MySQL Error:
-> MySQL Error Number: 0
-> Date: 03.02.2008 @ 17:24
-> Script: /modules.php?name=vwar
-> Referer: http://gfs.exofire.net/index.php

All the database settings are ofc configured correctly in the config.php file in my main www directory. The vwar installer had no problems creating all the tables in the database. Also the admin panel works ok but the module itself does not.

I really have no clue as to how to solve this problems and I would really appreciate some help from the more experienced forum members.

SOLVED (i switched to clansphere)

Sry, no idea how to delete this post.
