Problem with picture

all my images appear scrambled on my web pages since I've downloaded them on the x10hosting.com disk... Someone can help me...

I've an another problem when I change the right user permissions on my configure file. Each time the files recovers its preceding permissions... Do you no why... And what to do to stop that...

That's wierd.. I don't know what's going wrong. What do you have the permissions set for for configure.php?

permissions on catalog/includes/configure.php set to 444. But the files always recovers alone its preceding permissions 644... And so I've the message error on my web page that's following :

"Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file:
/home/tiyann/public_html/catalog/includes/configure.php.
This is a potential security risk -
please set the right user permissions on this file."

I don't understand why?

Someone else have an idea, please?

Certain host do not allow to change the rights of access by CHMOD on the files and repertories. Is it the case with x10hosting.com? And for my pictures what's the problem?
