Hello there,

I am running a webmaster forum and right now I am trying to post some rules for my forum. I think mod_security is not allowing me to post due to certain words within my thread & I would like to have mod_security off for my site when it comes to post filtering. In htaccess it is set to off but it still is on.

Any help on resolving this issue?

My website is http://webwork.x10.bz

while x10hosting discourage it - Premium account users have the ability to completely disable [ mod_security ] on their account via cPanel

For free-hosting accounts - x10hosting has a customized web server setup that does not allow for the same cPanel functionality to disable all or part of [ mod_security ] - and users can not use the [ .htaccess ] file to disable it - x10hosting decided it would not be a good idea to allow free-hosting users to disable any of it - as it is used to not only protect against inbound malicious attacks but to prevent outbound abuse also - Unfortunately free-hosting still gets abusive signups - and allowing those abusive users to disable something that helps to prevent their malicious actions would not be in x10hosting's best interest

only Admins can adjust [ mod_security ] for free-hosting accounts (i.e. [ Basic (no upgrade) ] and [ Prime ] and [ Illuminated ])

I would like a admin then to turn off the post filter of mode_security. I am trying to write the rules on my forum & I can't post them because I think the keywords in it which makes mod security go off is hosting, no phishing, or malicious nulled scripts. I think those may be keywords making it happen. I am just trying to write out the rules of what not to do for my forum.
