The problem is my website is working but the control panel isn't and I need to edit the pages on my website so then the ads show up.

Please read the news in the future: http://forums.x10hosting.com/showthread.php?t=22130 . Alejandro didn't mention anything about cPanel being down, but that doesn't mean that it wouldn't be, and forseen HTTP downtime often translates to downtime for other services as well.
