Go to admin area for the SMF and change the "site URL" (or whatever they call it). SMF uses that to create the links on the forum.

The SMF site support forums might help.

Again, go to the SMF site and check the documentation or ask on their support forum.

Sometimes you can edit a configuration file via cPanel.
Sometimes you can edit a database entry via phpMyAdmin.
