Trying to install a small game to my website, but when I direct my browser to the installer.php, it tries to save the installer.php file to my computer instead of running the install program, anyone have any ideas.

Also I am trying to install a PHPBBv2 forum to my website as well, but when I point my browser to the install.php, I keep getting 404 Error-page does not exist. I go to my file manager under cpanel and it is there. I mean I can see it, at the location that I am trying to direct my browse to.

Any insight to either of these problems would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I just noticed something for .php extension I have two Apache Handlers, could this possibly be the root of my problem?

Yes, remove the handlers. They are probably overriding the intermediate PHP.

Ok I got the forum up and running though the process that I stated above, it was a typo in the address for the install script.

But still trying to get the game installed, and still getting the save file option.

How do I go about removing one of the apache handlers. They are all in the system apache handlers section on my cpanel. And how do I decide which one to remove? Cause I really don't want to remove the wrong one, for obvious reasons.

EDIT: Problem solved....I feel about this big [-] right now. The problem was between the keyboard and chair. I needed to clear my cookies/cache for it to work. Thank you for trying to help anyhow.
