Here's a simple tutorial on making simple borders to finish up your sig.

A varient to this is located below step 4.

Now for people who want a varient to this,
on step 3, you can add a 3px stroke of black, 2px of white, and 1px of black.

That will give you a border that you can use for both light and dark forums.
