Hi there all,

I was wondering whether anyone could answer my two questions

1. I have a file that I want to host on the server, and link to it on my site so that people can download it. I was wondering how I could get a link to the file that everyone can access?

2. Also, how do I get my index.php to work on my site? I have deleted the index.html that was there before, and I have uploaded it to the folder /www. How do I get this to work?

Thank you very much for any help that you can give me.

Alex

P.S. What is the maximum inactivity time for a ad-free website? Inactivity means I dont log in, right?

for question #1 just use the link that goes to the file (yourdomain.com/file.zip)
most of the time it will automatically know what to do with the file extention....if its pictures or something....just tell them to right click and save image as....

hope i helped some...i think the inactive thing is 30 days...but im not sure...but just log in every few days or so and browse threw the forum, you might find something you needed or didnt know, and also you can make friends or maybe help us out, or ask for help yourself!!

I went to your site, it looks like your paths are setup incorrectly in your config file as it's giving an error looking for files in C:\ which would be for windows.

Inactivity is 2 weeks; You have to visit this forum(Posting not required) at least once every two weeks. If you don't your account gets suspended. If it stays suspended for 10+ days it gets terminated.
