putting template on site

Does anyone know where to upload a template to the root of the site? cos im having problems where to upload it :sad:

I would imagine you would upload it in your "www" folder in you file manager, but I`m not positive about this as I dont use templates.

I tried what you said but it wont show up on the root (site url) so i aint sure how to do this

Are you trying to install template to some bulletin board system...or you are trying to use a base template for your site ?

he probably has downloaded a site design/template with all the files and wants to upload it all,
