Please bear with me while I explain this.

I'm a pixel artist, so, when I have a layout, from splash page to mini outside-hosted page, it all has to match the theme. Pixelated, colored to fit the theme and it can't interfere with the layout. I mean, there are ways, of course, but its just a nuisance, when it comes right down to it.

Anyway, my question is: If I were to have a floating icon in the lower right hand corner.. say maybe 50x50 pixels.. would that count as having an advertising package as opposed to the current adfree version I have?

I think for now this is merely curiosity, as I don't have the time to pixel up a personalized matching corner advertisement and write up the script for the non-interferance floatie on all the pages. But it would be nice to know.

I use iframes, so if I had an ad floating visibly at the bottom corner of a browser (not hiding behind something) on the main layout page... that would be still considered following the adenhanced rules?

Pardon. I don't have adenhanced, so I don't know if I'm being ignorant here.

If you are on the advanced plan yes. The corporate plan's ad has to be visible without scrolling down.

Ooo.. that's interesting to know. :3 Cause you wouldn't need to scroll if I did it the way I'm talking about.

Would you get in trouble if, say, it wasn't compatible in netscape or something? I don't use it, so I wouldn't know. =)

Sorry for the thorough interrogation. ;D

Since you are on the adfree plan, you don't need any ads on your site. If you want to switch to adenhanced, you can do so by placing the necessary ads. The advanced plan requires only a text link anywhere on the page, whereas the Corporate plan requires you to place a banner of size 468*60 on top of all your site pages.

You ought to pin this or place it someplace. This is -VERY- good to know, especially since I have friends I have referred here who would need to know the same thing in case they wanted options only offered by the adenhanced plan.

Personally.. I really like this host. So, I was planning on giving a link on all the pages anyway. I firmly support x10hosting. =) And to think.. I used to pay 130 USD a year for the same thing. xP

But I was wondering about this for the purpose.. if I did link you on every page visibly and easily.. would I be able to upgrade at some point should I choose to do so.

You have answered my question. And I'll tell my friends. =)

Also, if I made pixelated ad buttons (of good quality) for your site, would you want me to make them available here?

It is not a link back to our site. It is a ad link.

Feel free to PM the button to me and I might put it on our affiliate system.
