Dear Technical Support,

First of all thank you for such a great free hosting services, so far I am really happy with it. I was just wondering what does it take in order to upgrade my hosting plan? I would like to be able to use the mail PHP function, have more space and bandwidth if possible. For now I have the adfree plan and I am willing to put your ad into my Spanish sport blog (currently 80 unique visits a day) if I could have what I mentioned before. If this is possible please let me know what is the steps or procedure to follow?

Also, my blog uses WordPress and I have a premium theme that requires the "image resizer" feature to be enabled in the server I guess? I sent an email to my premium theme support and they told me that in order for this feature to work I need the "PHP GD Library" enabled in my hosting.

Hi msilva,

The PHP mail() function is available to all members on all hosting accounts.

If you would like to add more space and bandwidth to your account and wish to add advertisements to your website, you can go to the Ad Codes area in your Account Panel and use the code provided there. To access this area, first log in at http://x10hosting.com/login.php, then visit http://x10hosting.com/panel.php?adcode. Once you have done that, create a new support request asking to be upgraded, and an account manager will manually review your website. Once they verify that the code is present on all pages, they will upgrade your account for you.

Hi Adam!

Thank for your response... I was just wondering once I added the code to my blog how/where do I open a support ticket? here in the forum? Also, will the "theme image resizer" work under x10hosting?

You post back in the free hosting forum a new thread stating that you've added the ads and would like to be upgraded. As for the GD library, I believe it is enabled, but a account manager/admin will have to confirm that.

Hi!

Thanks for your quick reply... I added the ads code to my blog but there seems to be a problem, nothing appears. The place where I placed the code appears to be empty. Is this normal? or should do something different? how long does it take for the x10hosting ads to appear in my blog?

I've just checked your website, and indeed I do not see the ads. Are you sure you uploaded the files correctly? By the way, you should add an index file at http://solofutbol.x10hosting.com/ redirecting to http://bdservicessa.com/ so that your account is not suspended for no site.
Normally the ads appear instantly.

Once I recall that there was a bug in the .js file where the ads for one of the plans won't show up. I don't know if that the case now.

Hi!

I see what the problem is now... the site where I placed the add is: solofutbol.net and this site is not yet hosted under x10hosting's servers but under my friend's hosting account. My plan is to move this blog/site (solofutbol.net) to x10hosting sometime soon but I want to upgrade my hosting plan with x10hosting first. Could this be the problem? does the site need to be hosted under x10hosting first in order for the ad script to work/show? Also... thank you for the index tip, i will do that right now.

To update your hosting plan first you have to place ads then ask for upgrade.

You can move .net site to your account but you have to place ad codes on that too once it is moved to yours.
