Hello, just a quick question...

I would like to know if im allowed to sell (for points) a game hosting server. Im not sure how clear that is but let me explain it. I own a server for games, not websites, and i want to know if im allowed to sell server time. Lets say some one wanted a server for doom 3 for one hour, they tell me, donate the points, and i give them a server for one hour. IS that possible? Am i allowed too?

Since I am not a staff member, I cannot give you a definite answer, but my guess would be that this would be fine. x10 is strict as to prohibiting advertising of other web hosts here on the forums, but since they do not offer any game hosting services, I don't see why you wouldn't be allowed to offer yours. Best wait for a staff reply nonetheless to make sure it is ok :) .

We've decided that we're not going to allow any more chances. By breaking our rules you not only waste our time, you waste other members time, and also the spot of a rule abiding member.

x10 provides superior hosting solutions with many freedoms that most free hosts don't provide. We've been around longer then a lot of hosts, we're more stable, and we have a great community. For all that we offer you, we do not ask much in return.

Starting today you will be automatically terminated for the following offenses:

1.) No Ads, total disregard for placing ads. (See bottom for longer explanation)
2.) Not in a supported language.
3.) Finding of copyrighted files, e.g. Mp3s, Games, Warez, XXX Material.
4.) Running a proxy or file hosting service.
5.) Spamming.

As much as I want to give out warnings and give second chances, I feel that we've been taken advantage of quite a bit and I've had enough. If you are caught for any of the above offences you will be terminated on the spot, no backup, no excuses, gone.

Regarding ads, I do realize some people work on their websites quite often and may forget ads on one or two pages. You may be suspended but we won't terminate you for this. I do suggest that if you are working on a new site, put the ads on before you upload it to test, or test it locally. If we see too many pages without ads you will be terminated.

Thanks for your understanding,
-Corey

From the looks of the above post, I don't think so if it's file hosting.

I was scouting for the best webhosting service in replace with the worst I had now until I bumped into this site and saw a comparative review of the best hosting services in the web. Man, this site: http://www.hosting-buyers-guide.com/ is awesome. They helped me decide to choose a web hosting for my business. I do hope the complete info of that site may help others too. I like the review regarding monthly fees and packages.

Yah but i think that would meen having a file storage thing on the site hosted by x10hosting. Thefore wasting their space. I meen what about hosting on my own server and just having an e-mail link to sign up.
