Hey,

I've seen some freehosting sites that have limits on how people can use the db, like, only access it from the hosted site.

I'm in an situation where i need to access it from an application that i designed myself, is that allowed when i'm using x10hosting?

We do not impose any restrictions on accessing your MySQL databases from another host.

We don't allow people to use their accounts for hosting files/data *only* though, so you'll need to make sure that you have an actual site on your account as well.

What kind of app? Like a CMS?
It's for an online game/mod i'm working on, something with Warcraft III.

Well, the SQL is for storing account data, and easy account creation, but the site will mainly be used for News, Updates, Support among other things, so yea, there'll be a site, but the sql base, will mainly just be used outside of the site itself.
