Question

I noticed that it was imperative that all users have their username linked to the forum account, or they risk suspension. I read the thread that showed how to do it, but I haven't gotten any message asking me to link my account. Is it because my name is exactly the same as my forum name? I just wanted to know before I end up with a suspended account for not having my username linked.

You are already linked.
I believe Corey has it set now that all new users got automatically linked ( Please don't quote me though )
But, as I mentioned, you are already linked - so no worries there.

All users should automatically be linked when their accounts are created.

Infact you can get one one without the other can you?

i.e you need a forum account before you finish you sign up process.

Yes, we made it a requirement due to NO ONE ever stating their account info but always asking for help.
