A couple questions about the TOS, if any mods or knowledgeable persons are lurking in the forum:
My site's purpose is that of a blog and an index of Livestream channels, so:
1)"Absolutely under no circumstances do we allow any type of illegal or copyrighted material..."
I have an API player on my site connected to my db that switches between sources, basically like a youtube embed. I index mostly gaming channels, but I do come upon different channels every so often so...
--Is this fine in the TOS?

2) "We do not allow any type of bot or script that runs constantly..."
I have a script that has my player cycle through the different channels so that I can tell if my index is updated and what content is no longer available, but it does not run 24/7. it only runs once or so so that I can check when i log onto my control panel I made.
--Is this okay? Would it be considered a content scraper? (not even sure what that is)

In the case of illegal or copyrighted material, you can not stay in x10Hosting either. By linking content of other pages that are not rapid, mega etc. I think it could be done.
Regarding the other question. The scripts cron-jobs kind of can not run more than once every 24 hours. Otherwise, your account could be suspended for resource abuse;)

1)"Absolutely under no circumstances do we allow any type of illegal or copyrighted material..."
The sentence continues with the crucial phrase "on our servers." You can link to copyrighted material, no problem. Embedding copyrighted material isn't prohibited in the ToS, and probably isn't illegal (disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer and can't guarantee the accuracy of these statements), but that won't guarantee you won't get sued or issued a takedown notice. It's also leeching. Make sure you properly attribute any embedded material, including the copyright notice of the copyright owner and a link to the content on the owner's site.

2) "We do not allow any type of bot or script that runs constantly..."

If the script runs "constantly" for any period, it's not allowed. I would define "running constantly" as the script is neither a cron job that runs for less than 30 seconds nor tied to a client request, or the script won't exit when it's finished responding to a client request (disclaimer: I'm not a site admin and can't guarantee the accuracy of these statements). Fortunately, scripts run by the web server have a maximum execution time. If it's run as a cron job, keep reading the ToS; it tells you the maximum cron script period: 5 minutes average for all your cron jobs (e.g. if you have 2 cron jobs, each can run at most once every 10 minutes). If your cron jobs are resource intensive, you may not be able to run them that frequently. How do you know if it's that resource intensive? You get suspended for over-utilizing resources.

it only runs once or so so that I can check when i log onto my control panel I made.
If you only run the script once, then it's scarcely a problem. Or did you accidentally the whole index?

--Is this okay? Would it be considered a content scraper? (not even sure what that is)
If you don't know what something is, you can always used google.

Note that both lines you quote are from the top section, which is a summary of later rules. It's the rules later on that really count.

Thank you so much for your help. I read the whole TOS page and I've got to say it's the shortest TOS I've ever read, not that that is a bad thing, so I just quoted what I thought was relevant.
The WHOLE index?! Yes, in fact, I have. I wrote a cleaner script that deletes every row in the sql that doesn't meet a set of requirements...unfortunately, I had accidentally put a '<' where a '>' should have been in the query so everything was deleted BUT the things that needed to be. I had the db backed up, but it was pretty funny. As for content scrapers, I google'd it promptly after making the thread along with nulled scripts :p.
P.S. That was the first time I've heard of http://lmgtfy.com/ and I found it amazing.
