I'm really new here and the site is quite confusing... Please help

1] I'm in adfree plan, does it mean that x10Hosting will not place ads on my website or it is me who's prohibited on putting ad on my website?

2] I reviewed the comparison, does adfree plan have free mysql database also?

3] And also, in ad-enhanced plan, can I choose where to put the ads?

1) no ads placed on your cite, you are allowed to place ads on it
2) yes it has mysql

1. You are not required to ( Hence, Ad-Free ) ... but are allowed to have your own, if you wish.
2. Yes.
3. Kinda. Ads must be placed in such a way that the user / viewer of your site doesn't have to scroll down to view the ads. ( This also depends on the Ad-Enhanced plan you choose )
