umm, i'm not sure what you mean..either way it's gonna take the same amount of time, although i guess it would be faster if you're uploading with like filezilla, cuteftp, smartftp, etc...

sorry i couldn't really help you, but i would strongly recommend using filezilla, it is the best program out there

Errrr, yea there is... you just said it? Go to My Network Places, on the left, click "Add a network place"... Then just go through the on screen instructions (using ftp://ftp.yoursite.x10hosting.com), uncheck "Logon as anonymus", shove in your user... When its made the folder you just need to put in your password and it will appear as a normal folder in windows.

Upload speeds between using FTP and adding a network place would be about the same..

:: ANOTHER QUESTION ::

:: can one of the x10 team answer this only ::

I am wondering if i can host game files in order for people to get into my clan server on total combat elite. and if i can host the total combat elite itself. its a conversion of enemy terriority : wolfenstein which is a freeware/shareware game now and can be downloaded for free. and total combat elite is a free conversion.

Regards

If it's not copyrighted your free to have it on your site.

Your site though cannot be used *just* to host files. I'm sure that it's not, so I'm just throwing this out there.
