My friend just made it in about 20 - 30 mins so tell me if it needs anything and I'll IM him. He is usually pretty reliable if you Email him an idea/suggestion he will post it up there, but just to be sure I tell him too

We actually can't tell him to remove it. We don't own the rights to it, we use a skin for vb, there are tons of other forums that use this skin aswell. But I would remove it as it doesn't repeat very nicely.

Looks like spammers can go loose on that forum....

Background still suck (NOT literualy). Maybe a) stop it from 100% repating b) also use background color. And do something about links.

OK here is my view on this site.

I mean it is easy to knock up a website in about 30 minutes, however this depends on how fast your coding skills are, and also whether your going to make the code valid or not.

Second of all the background does not look very nice reapeating, the type of font he has used is not very good either. Plus the colour scheme!

However if he spent a bit more time on the coding side of things then he might just get this up to a good standard.

I think it's funny that at the bottom it says: "Site design by Silver Mole Designs"

Obviously this person has absolutely no talent in "designing" and should consider practicing a bit first before trying to SELL anything. Only an idiot would consider paying this person to design a site (unless maybe they felt sorry for them).

They're also an asshole for stealing bandwidth.

The design is dreadful--using text as borders? Gawd. Also, I find it an eyesore. It doesn't even find anything that you couldn't find at Google.com. 1/10--tell your friend it needs work

It has the same search engine as Google...i don't think its supposed to find anything that Google doesn't. As far as the layout goes, yeah, it sucks. The text needs some oomf, and the whole site needz werk.

Uh wow, I've only been in the coding business for like 2 years and I'm not what you'd call a "pro", and even I can say that's a piece of crap. I'd just take it down before people keep on owning you.

... and it really doesn't have anything that google doesn't link to like someone said earlier, so there is really no point to your site.

Yeah, they are all direct links. So you don't have to navigate around google. To get to most of them you have to go to

Google > More > Even More > Labs > Select your options > download link > download page

OR you could

Gugle > download link > download page

Which is easier?
