what do you think of my sig and avatar they were relly made for michaelp but he went with the blue version instead so i edited the orange version of it!

try to make the background a little lighter, i believe that should solve the problem

or you can add shadow to your text, (if you use fireworks add "GLOW")

Add a 1px black border to the text and make the gradient bigger so it isn't so together

Also I'd add a very small inner bevel on the text to give it a little 3d feeling

Yah! good stuff. except for the text. By the way, how do you make those clear whorls and wap in the graphics? I tried making a gradient fill but all that comes up are burred images. frustrating!!
