Read-Only FTP Access?

Hi,
Just wondering if there's a way to have a read-only/anonymous ftp user.
It won't be heavy access, just for downloading a ~40kb zip file when a program of mine detects a user is running an older version (using the website first, not the ftp).

FTP is really my only option due to limits of the programming language.

If mods could help it'd be really appreciated.
Just anonymous (or even passworded), read-only access to freetrafficsite.com/public_ftp/

Free accounts do not include anonymous ftp access.

OK no worries. Didn't realize it was a premium feature.
Am I allowed to include the ftp username and password setup for a separate folder in my program?
(of course i'd be limiting the usage to 1mb since it's only to serve a 60kb file)

Since you will be giving people the ability to upload files which is a violation of our Terms of Service.

Sorry, lol i did attempt to read all the terms and conditions, just there's alot to remember.
Would have guessed you can't give out the ftp.

I've found another way to do it. thanks for answering so promptly though.
